John C. Redfern, MD is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, with a particular interest in arthroscopic and open techniques for shoulder disorders, sports medicine, and trauma and fracture care. His shoulder practice covers the full continuum of care, from nonsurgical treatment through total, reverse, and revision shoulder replacement.
Dr. Redfern spent several years working as an engineer before changing careers for medicine, and it shows in how he explains a joint. He trained in orthopaedic surgery at USC and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Utah.
